Spring Court X Agnès b. Lizard Wizardry & Casual Chic Urbain

Sneakers have been quite popular these past few years to the point where it became an obsession for some people who collect and display them instead of wearing them. It seems like sneakers are getting more and more voluminous from one brand to another, so at Endymion we wonder if it is the fruit of an unspoken competition … perhaps of a long and lost battle between jokers who love different colors, shapes, and concepts.
Thus, many collaborations between sportswear brands and fashion designers take place today, for example Off-White x Nike or Adidas Originals x Alexander Wang, and a very significant one is the one we talk about today in ‘Spring Court x Agnès b.’ which signature is defined as ‘bringing simple back!’.
Agnès b. here has revisited Spring Court’s famous “G2”, the first breathable shoe designed by Goerges Grimmeisen in 1936, a tennis shoe which will never go out of style thanks to a classic and functional design. The collaboration which is a featuring part of the Agnès b. SS19 collection offers to both men and women tennis shoes in black and white, and adds a French Bon Chic Bon Genre touch to any other look without any efforts.

So indeed, it is such a stylistic pleasure to be able to go back to the original tennis / turf shoe, and to stay away from today’s horror show which are dad sneakers, sock sneakers, or them sports shoes with exaggerated soles.
The two French brands share the same classic yet contemporary concept styles that never fail to seduce several generations. Furthermore, both Agnès b. and Spring Court have a minimalist and refined design that give an elegant vibe to anyone who wears them.
The Agnès b. x Spring Court collaboration signature can be easily found with its symbolic small lizard drawn on top of each shoe which perfectly merges with the laces giving out a very interesting optical effect. So, the small reptile is a good reference to the vacation season, and the pleasure of living. This restful lizard design can also be found on the rest of the exclusive black and white unisex collection created by Agnès b.: sweatshirt, shorts, cap, socks… easy looks can be formed with this collection thus no more excuses will be accepted in case of a fashion faux pas.
At Endymion, we’d like to believe that this collection is an indirect reminder for today’s society that one should stay down to earth
