Milan Fashion Week SS20 Versace : Lavender Maximalism Refined

Once upon a time men did not wear pink lipstick, but that was before Donatella Versace asked the following simple question:
What empowers a man?
One. Roma Black motor wear coats, like the type you would imagine on an Obersturmfuehrer riding a sidecar maybe? With crispy shirt and tie of course.
Two. All types of leopard and panter patterned wear. Coats. Boots. Slick sticky pants. Belts maybe? Terribly Afrique.
Three. Power-suits cut in contrasting fabrics from Prince of Wales to solid black. With Versace tie of course. And crispy shirts. Blue collar blue shirts.
Four. Various sunglasses, shades or spectacles. And not in one shade or colour. So very Italiano.
Five. Man-bags. Hanging, swinging, or holding. Shoulder-strapped. Very bling, very rock-chic. So very …
Six. Oversized dark denim. Best cut up without sleeves. Or stained and washed out.
Seven. Post – punk dyed hair. Short and spunky. Best off with multi – colour foulard or Versace bandana.
Eight. Cars, cars, cars.
Nine. Non – matching colours. Lavender on Raven Black. Leopard on Mouse Grey. NYPD blue looking perfectly ugly against anything and everything.
Ten. Maximalism. Max out your potential for your imperial dreams because this is Versace. Nothing less will do. And nothing more is needed.
Oh except for pink lipstick pour homme …
